Community Residential Alternative (CRA)
Aspire’s Community Residential Alternative (CRA) program provides 24-hour residential support for individuals who need ongoing supervision and a higher level of care. The program offers a safe, stable, and supportive home where individuals can build skills, work toward personal goals, and become more independent.
A Safe, Supportive Living Environment
CRA services are provided in community-based homes with support from trained staff 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The homes are designed to feel safe, structured, and welcoming while meeting each individual’s care and supervision needs.
Staff provide guidance and help with daily routines to support safety, stability, and personal growth.
Individualized Care and Daily Support
Each individual receives a support plan based on their needs, strengths, abilities, and goals. Services focus on daily living skills, health, communication, and greater independence.
Services may include:
- Help with personal care, meals, and household routines
- Medication support and health monitoring
- Support with communication, social skills, and managing emotions
- Structured daily routines
- Skill-building for greater independence and self-care
- Support with community activities and involvement
- The level of support may change as the individual grows and makes progress. This helps ensure care remains appropriate and person-centered.
Promoting Growth and Independence
Although CRA provides 24-hour support, the goal is to help individuals become as independent as possible. Staff encourage decision-making, self-confidence, and stronger daily living skills.
Progress may include improved self-care, better communication, more involvement in the community, and greater independence with daily routines.
A Path Toward Stability
CRA provides a supportive place to live and may serve as a step toward greater independence when appropriate. Through structure, supervision, and individualized support, the program helps individuals improve stability, quality of life, and progress toward personal goals.
Compassionate Care, Every Day
Aspire believes every individual deserves dignity, respect, and the opportunity to grow. CRA reflects this commitment by providing compassionate and consistent support for both immediate needs and long-term development.
